Inspiration is yours for the asking in ColourWheel Art Classes, a great way for adults to explore their artistic potential in a fun, friendly setting.
The ColourWheel national franchise is consistently helping people to amaze themselves with what they can learn and achieve in painting and drawing under its 14 week structured courses. Tuition is provided by an experienced teacher and here in Leicestershire, classes are held in a farm’s charming former milking parlour in Barkby Thorpe, near Loughborough.
ColourWheel classes enable people to develop their skills, no matter what their starting point. Many students are complete beginners while others are lifelong artists wanting to improve. During the course they work with a wide range of different materials from charcoal to acrylics and exploring techniques from initial mark making through light, shape and colour to portraiture and picture composition. The final week is a chance for everybody to undertake their own projects using whatever they have most enjoyed.
Franchisee Charlotte Turlington says: “We get a wide variety of people. Some say they haven’t done any art since school, others want to try something new. The course fee includes all the materials and equipment and the classes are very much a social experience as well as one for developing new skills.”
Charlotte is recruiting now for morning and afternoon classes starting in May.
