Pathfinding Therapy

If you’re suffering in silence and fear there is nowhere to turn to sort out your deepest anxieties, take heart. Pathfinding Therapy offers a way forward to resolve issues and work things out, even if they have bothered you for many years.

Pathfinding Therapy is the counselling practice of Andrea Headington, a clinically trained Person Centred Counsellor. Andrea works with a wide range of concerns but specialises in grief caused by bereavement or other losses, low self-esteem, anxiety and relationships especially couples counselling and troublesome sexual matters.

“Many people identify with these problems but just struggle on alone,” says Andrea. “Through counselling they can actually do something. They don’t have to leave it until they can’t cope or are in a crisis.”

Person Centred Counselling takes the approach that each client is the expert on themselves and their own lives and that within a counselling setting they can arrive at an altogether happier state of being. They can be themselves and talk through, honestly, what they are really feeling in a safe, confidential, non-judgemental environment which simply isn’t available in everyday relationships.

As a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy, Andrea works within an ethical framework designed to foster the highest professional standards and the best outcomes for clients. For a free initial consultation call 07749 921431.

Changes Ahead

For many women, the menopause and all the associated symptoms can be a nightmare, with hot flushes, night sweats, headaches, sleepless nights, anxiety and stress, to name a few, but it really doesn’t have to be this way. Pam Bailey of Changes-Ahead offers a life enhancing way through ‘the change’ with astonishing results.

Changes-Ahead offers a nurturing approach developed by owner Pam, who has worked through her own life issues including early menopause. Through her training in Neuro Linguistic Programming, hypnotherapy and other fields, she has evolved ways of leading herself and others toward health and happiness.

Now specialising in the great adjustments involved as women move past childbearing age into a new and frequently unwelcome era, Pam has created her own 12 week programme called Embrace Your Menopause. It is for women experiencing severe symptoms that affect their everyday lives and includes hypnotherapy sessions, personal self hypnosis recordings to play at home, nutritional advice and life coaching to help keep anxiety at bay.

The emphasis is strongly on empowering each client to take control of their own life.

“For some women, menopause can be quite debilitating,” says Pam. “Even though it is a natural part of life it can be viewed negatively as an ending.”
