Antiques fair meets high street at the Majac Gallery, Loughborough, a treasure trove for collectors and anyone who appreciates quality and craftsmanship from the past.

No other shop offers the same items as those on sale at the Majac. You will find in the two storey showroom items including beautiful antique furniture, vintage tea sets and glasses, an extensive array of finely crafted silverware and attractive treenware making the most of natural wood.

There is a huge range of collectible ceramics including figurines, vases and teapots from some of the very best makers including hand painted Royal Worcester, Royal Crown Derby, Moorcroft, Troika, Lorna Bailey and Paul Cardew.

You will even find quality artwork – not only from yesteryear but also by living artists – not to mention all manner of one off quirky pieces that create talking points or light up a room.

Gallery owner Jackie Bott has particular specialities in Art Deco and Moorcroft pieces.

Jackie says: “You cannot walk into any other shop in the area and find what we have here. We have collectibles including ceramics by Peggy Davies & Kevin Francis that are just not produced any more. Normally people would have to go to antique fairs or auctions to find these sorts of items but here it is in the heart of Loughborough and all very keenly priced.”
