People love finding out at what’s new at the Royal Redgate pub/restaurant where the hospitality has been pleasing customers for more than 300 years and just keeps getting better and better.

Everything served up at the privately owned Royal Redgate is freshly made from top quality ingredients including finest beef from a local farm, luxurious ice cream and rich cheeses from two family businesses and stone baked pizzas hand made on the premises.

Those pizzas are proving popular, not only Italian-style favourites but unique creations like the Redgate Special majoring on ham hock, pastrami and Bosworth Field cheese.

On top of that diners can enjoy fine steaks, delicious pies, seafood dishes and scrummy desserts or partake of a lighter lunch menu packed with appetising baguettes, jacket potatoes and many other options.

The Royal Redgate is well known for its well kept draft and bottled ales, fine wines, moreish selection of spirits and fresh coffee. It has now added an enticing new range to its cocktail choices.  Customers can fill their glasses with delectably wicked choices like the OMG & T featuring Gordon’s gin, elderflower tonic, lime and fresh berries or perhaps an Espresso Martini with vodka, Bailey’s, espresso and honey.

People go back to the Royal Redgate again and again, partly because of its highly convenient location on the junction of the A5 and A444 on the borders of Leicestershire and Warwickshire between Hinckley and Atherstone. It is a large pub with a pleasant garden overlooking countryside and is spacious, full of character and perfect whether you are a couple out for an intimate dinner or a large party of people with a milestone to mark.

“There’s a good vibe in the restaurant and it’s busy most of the time,” says owner Luke. “We go for quality in everything we do.”
